In my opinion Olive wood is a bad cue going somewhere to happen because it is so unstable. All of mine made great firewood. Now I don't have to worry about it :D

I don't believe that anyone can build a cue which will withstand abuse.

Yes it does; but what does it matter? Are you going to play pool out in the sunlight a lot? I like to play where it is dark and the sunlight never enters the room :)

Here is a picture of one of my water based finished cues. It is the clearest, best finish I have ever seen. I have learned how to use it and it is from a health standpoint the best thing ever to happen to cuemakers.

It sounds like you need a lot of help setting up your new mill. I suggest that you find a Machinist in your home town and have him come to your shop and help you. Next get out your check book and an MSC Direct catalog and pick out the tooling you will need. Good Luck,

It is amazing to hear how fast some of you cuemakers install a linen wrap. I never considered speed in the equation when it came to any aspect of cuemaking. The main consideration here at Arnot Q Custom Cues is in doing the job to perfection. If it takes a little more time to do it right...

Google the word "Radial" and you will find that lots of people have been using that word for a very long time.

I think it is the best screw made for connecting a butt and a shaft. I don't care how it applies to other uses because that is not what we speak to in this forum. If you have some information that would help us please post it straight out. Thanks,

If you look closely you will find that the words "Uni Loc ®" are Registered; not the word Radial. Radial Screws have been around for many many years. Anybody can make a radial type thread. The "Uni Loc ®" Radial Pin has a different thread pitch than the radial style imports.
