I really think it is subjective...i personally have a custom break cue made by Varney Cues. The cue maker Kevin Varney post on here quite a bit. He is a great guy to deal with. I love my varney..payed more than 79.00 for it, but it works wonders for me. If the 79 dollar cue breaks the balls...

I will give my two cents..you have to remember that you are comfortable with you old cue..you trust yourself to do everything that is right to get that cue ball to draw back..Your gona have to learn to trust your new cue now..practice a bit with it...you cant just exspect the new cue to pick up...

I would concur with a previous post...it is subjective..I love my varney...dear god i do..it has gotten me out of some sticky stuff either by jumping or breaking..but it is my opinion..I loved the feel of the cue, the craftsmanship, and the wonderful attitude and personality of the cue...

If you want to pm them cool but i aint got no problem talking about my Varney....Won me third place in a tournament last week..stuck my self behind the six ball.. about where you would put the cue ball to break from the center of the table..7 ball was about 4 balls over from the rack spot down...
