do yourself a favor Never push to a spot without a purpose. You should have a game plan if the incoming player elects to let you shoot. However if you dog the push and say hook yourself, yes in some instances your best option may be to lock something up and take a foul.

Wow That isnt what I got out of the post. I thought he meant he hit a ball with his cue when he was admiring his good hit. If the ball was in motion it is a foul period. If the ball wasn't in motion my pervious post is accurate.
