I'm using a Cue Companion. When you say feed rate, are you doing this by hand or do you have an auto feed. I used a brand new blade and got the same results.

I need to replace a Ferrule on a BK3 (not on warranty) IT looks similar to a 314-2 which I have done and have ferrules for, is it the same? Will the tenon have a small step like the 314-2 Thanks

Got it thanks! So is the vault plate like a solid T that fits inside the shaft like a replaced tenon would be?

I have been curious about this as I have to do a non warranted 314-3 for a friend. If you cut the ferrule off as normal, does the vault plate extend up past the tenon flush? Does anyone have a picture of what the vault plate looks like without the ferrule? Thanks Phil

I'm looking to pick one of these up if you have one you don't use or have grown out of it. I realize the Cue Companion is the way to go and I already have one along with other machines. I have a specific use for a TT and a mini lathe is over kill for my need. Please PM if you have one. Thanks
