    Awesome!

We have a 10x5 table and I have found 2" balls much better than 2 1/16. We ordered a set from Thurstons in England

Non numbered Aramith Snooker Balls 2 1/8 -Available?

I've played a lot of competitive snooker over the years and now live in the US and own a 10ft snooker table. I agree, there is a HUGE difference in 1/16 of an inch. We have 2 1/8 pool balls and they are way too big. Balls bounce off the rails because the cushions are too low. The table came...

    Buying a snooker table

My two cents... hire a professional billiard company to take it down, pack it, move it, and set it up again for you. It may cost a little more but it will be worth every penny if they do it right.

    snooker table setup questions

100% agree with Phil. Not sure if I'm a "Fanatic" but I brush, damp cloth, and iron our table about once a week. You have to know what you are doing so you don't burn the cloth.

I have found a couple of players and arranged practice sessions, both home and away. Anyone else interested in joining in and either teaching or learning how to play? The more people we have of different standards, the better we can learn from each other. Maybe Allison Fisher will read this post...

    Some questions

Also, the cue matters. Make sure you get a snooker cue with 10mm tip or smaller and brass ferrile. Don't worry about name brands or being hand-spliced vs. machine spliced. Just order one online, practice and have fun.

    Some questions

We have a 10x5 table and I have experimented with several different ball sizes. In my lowly opinion, 2 1/8" balls are definitely to large and they don't bounce properly as the rails are too low. 2 1/16" are a little too big with 15 reds because the area around the black spot is too congested. I...

    Snooker Players in Charlotte NC

If you are ever in the area, let me know. I'd love to play a few frames. We have a 10x5 table (wish we had room for a full-size) and we play 15 reds. I have a set of 2 1/16 balls but we normally play with 2" because it gives a little more room around the black. I grew up playing with John...
