    Fargo in North Carolina

I’m currently in the military stationed at fort bragg. I’ll be moving soon to a location that I know they use the Fargo system regularly. I just wanted to get established before playing doubles with a old friend of mine.

    Fargo in North Carolina

Looking to establish a Fargo rating. I’m currently in the Fayetteville North Carolina area. Anyone know where I could find weekly tournaments? I can travel to near by cities like Raleigh or Wilmington on weekends.

    Cue identification help.

That was my best guess as well by look at the pictures. Possibly a C3 as well. The butt doesn't match up perfectly but it's close.

    Cue identification help.

I have never been a McDermott fan so I don't have much knowledge of them. One of my friends received this cue and was told it was from the 80's but I can't find it on the McDermott timecapsuled. Anyone have information on this cue?

How to get out of a slump?

Lately I have been in a slump. Basic shooting, banks, defensive shots, you name it and I have been messing it up. Basically I feel like I have the equivalence to writer's block but for a pool player, if that makes any sense. It's been going on for almost two months now and is becoming extremely...

Everyone has seen "that guy". No one wants to be "that guy"...

Well what justifies how much your game is worth? Is each ball worth $100, so someone who can run a rack of 9 can get a $900 cue? What about a return on investment? Last week I took $400 off someone in a race to 5. Does that mean I can now justify a $400 cue? I personally think anyone who...

    Question for the cue-a-holics

I would look the pro dead in the eyes while breaking the cue over my knee, not say anything and walk out.. lol for real if I liked how it played I would play with it, if not then I would keep it just so I have a good story. edit: Oh and on a side note I did beat Jeanette once. It was one of...

Questions for you custom cue players

Umm I can clearly tell a difference between my Joss with a Z2 and my Roadline with a Z2. As well as the Roadline and my friend's P3 both with a Z2. I agree the shaft is the money maker on a cue but I can tell a difference in butts and pins. If I couldn't I would just walk into walmart, grab...

Questions for you custom cue players

Thank you very much for your feedback. I didn't even think of the bolt system. I have no reason for a weight bolt. I know what I want and would not change it, so it would make sense for the weight to be evenly distributed. I totally agree with you about getting what you pay for.

Questions for you custom cue players

Schon is one choice on my short list for sure. Also, predator makes my favorite LD shaft. Just getting a feel of the communities opinion. I have been very curious how some well know custom cues play, but I never see anyone with one to ask.

Questions for you custom cue players

Thanks for the welcome! Yeah I must have tried 15 or more different tips by now. I have that locked down. I have owned, played with, and tested a lot of different production cues but its hard to test a custom cue without buying a plane ticket and flying to that cue maker. Trying to get as much...

Questions for you custom cue players

This is what I’m scared of, ordering blind. I know I shoot well with a Schon or Predator, but I read great things about these custom cue makers and it makes me want to try one. I know the specs I want and what works well for me. Just doing my research and getting as much feedback as possible...
