    What is meant by a "box" cue?

    Heres another example of a box cue. Like the above posters stated, a box cue is a cue with inlaid boxes instead of traditional points. This cue has boxes inlaid on top of boxes for a total of 18 boxes between the forearm and butt sleeve.

    That cue was built in 2011. Here is another one that was built at the same time. the first one was amboyna burl, this cue is thuya burl. both cues have ivory joints, inlays, and hoppe rings.
