Is that a general rule for your system? :) I mean under a certain distance you use tip position 2 and 3 aim points on OB, tip position 1 and 3 aim points on OB above certain distance, and position 3 just for close thin cuts?

Do you have any angle rules that determine the spot on the CB and spot on the OB that you will use for certain shot? Does it change with distance, or just the angle?

Ok, so you aim at ABOUT that spots on the CB, not on the equator of the CB, except the last red spot if I got it right... And do you use all 3 spots on the CB and all 3 spots on the OB for cutting in one direction (so 9 possible alignments in one cutting direction)??

Anthony, thank you for finally sharing your system :) In the first picture on the left, the spots on the CB where your tip is aiming, does it have to be exactly there, or it can be on the equator of the CB? And what is your bridge length, from the CB to the spot where the shaft touches your...

    90/90 pivot

I presumed so...and center CB to half-a-ball outside the OB edge for your vision line for 90-reverse-90, yes?

    90/90 pivot

Hey Neil, my friend, this was a great video!!! Maybe just what I missed to be consistent with 90/90, I always started on 90/90 (or edge/edge) line so I probably was ok when I picked the correct bridge distance, not so ok otherwise, this must fix it, I'll try it in a day or two for sure...

    Stan Shuffet Challenge

He is looking at the two visuals (the 5 shots video) - in a way that if you imagine them (the 2 lines - CTEL and A) as a road - he is looking down the middle of the road, in all 5 shots. When he is there, if he looks now through the center of the CB - it would point to a different place on/off...

    Fundamentals - Stance & Alignment

Sean, Could you possibly expand a bit on this subject: "the "seating" of the hip (to make clearance for the grip hand to swing freely past the hip)" What do you mean by the seating of the hip? Any other way of describing this? Tnx.

    GoPro Head Cam

That would be awesome, just pause and call the visuals (maybe draw lines on some frames) and do the pivot slower :)

    GoPro Head Cam

And could you try not to mask the pivot, do it a bit slower :)

    Edge aiming

Edge aiming would be very cool if the OB didn't appear smaller then the CB.....but it does....which complicates it - since you can't just imagine a perpendicular line, on the 2D CB image, going from its edge to the desired fraction, it has to be an angled line.....how do you use the edge aiming...
  20. M

    How Do You Aim?

Well that is exactly what I'm talking about, that wouldn't be problem at all IF the CB and OB would be the same size, but they aren't, OB looks smaller so you can't just imagine a perpendicular line going from inside edge of the CB to inside 1/4 of the OB because then the center of the CB surely...
