    Beautiful Scott Gracio For Sale

Thanks They come out pretty good for a $10 paper cutter and a razorblade. I hit this cue a few times and hits great!! Nice tone and feedback. This will make a great player for somebody. Just to let the next owner know the warrantee stays with the cue no matter where it goes or how many...

Has the world gone to flipping?

I have nothing against flippers. The flippers I've worked with have become friends and I enjoy working with them. They paid what I asked and made a profit. One sends me 50% of his profit and in no way is obligated to do that. Flippers are not bad people. Dealers are not bad people. They have...

Has the world gone to flipping?

Flippers are people that order a cues for profit. No intention of keeping them. I like building for players and don't take very many flipper orders.

Thanks for the compliments. Cutting the V-groves so the forearm ends with sharp points was not an easy task.

    Scott Gracio KILLER VENEERED FULLSPLICE

I'd like to help this cue get sold. It's a nice cue that needs some table time. I'll throw in some matching JP's for free.

    CA versus auto finish

I was mixing my super glue 3 parts thin with 1 part med gap filling and had better results. Super glues are not the same and can have bad reactions when mixing. Use caution when mixing chemicals. The main reason I quit using CA was the odor. It's a good finish when properly executed. CA...

    Any ideas on this wood

If it's heavier then Maple I'd vote again for Bubinga. Take some pictures of the side showing the grain layers.

    Any ideas on this wood

The pores make it look like Bubinga. Show us pictures of the side grain.

    CA versus auto finish

I used CA on my first 100 cues. These cues are mostly in local players hands and I have to look at them daily. I see more dents and chips in those cues then I like. Benson built a lot of cues for the players in my area and I see major chipping in his cues. They have 10-15 years abuse on...

    Any ideas on this wood

Figured Bubinga is my guess. One of my favorite woods.

    Inlays on shaft

If the inlays are properly executed they are a thin decoration that will not affect the playability. It's rare because it's outside the box. Paul Drexler told me he uses his rotary as the 3rd axis and cuts a consistent depth of .020" when the inlays can affect playability. Master builder...

ATTN: Cue Makers. Cue Build Off starting for Charity

I suggest you let the builders build the cues they want. Picking the woods didn't go over last time. I didn't like when testers thought the cues looked like cheap productions. The simple cues made testers loose interest before they started. Picking the design limits some builders. Let the...

    selling your personal playing cue??

A builders personal cue is wanted and saying no makes them want it more. My cue is not for sale!! Offer me double and you'll get the same answer. NOT FOR SALE!! I've regretted selling my player and will not do it again. The quick cash isn't worth it. If you have customers waiting on a...

    Burl cues and blanks

..................... My wood supplier added a little surprise to my order and I didn't complain about the extra $25.00. Coco Burl I think it'll make a nice cue.

Birdseye plane jane ready to ship.

I'm (I am) too busy to worry this trivial BS. My apologies for adding an unnecessary apostrophe. Also, apologies for posting in the wrong section of the forum. The important thing is, I made it to the PO in time to ship the cue to the customer. Next time when I am short on time, I'll just not...

    Building a spraybooth

The slow RPM works perfect for me. They have enough power to add pulleys to increase the speed. These little motors have more power then you'd think and they make no noise. They'd be great for shaft machines.
