SVB vs Corey D racking issue

That still doesn't explain your accusation of Corey sharking Shane. I just think if you're going to say things like that you should have something to back it up. Your videos certainly suggest that Corey is no angel either, but I never got the impression that this thread was about that. At least...

SVB vs Corey D racking issue

I'm guessing by your comment you have no answer that can back up your statement and you shouldn't be questioned any more than Shane's 9 ball rack.

SVB vs Corey D racking issue

OK, so if a player wants to inspect another players rack when is he supposed to do it? There are racking rules and if there is not a ref present, it falls on the responsibility of the player to verify there are no rules being broken correct? From what I saw, Corey stood back, let Shane rack...

SVB vs Corey D racking issue

uh yea, still wondering what is is Corey did while Shane was "about to break" since that is what this thread is about.

SVB vs Corey D racking issue

I watched this live and I watched a few replays. I still have not seen where Corey was doing anything as Shane "was about to break" except walking back to his chair. He's at the table looking at the rack about the same time Shane is getting to the head of the table. I don't recall anybody...

SVB vs Corey D racking issue

I wish we could have heard the conversation. I didn't see any issue with what Corey did.

    Shane walks away....

anybody watching the stream from 4 Bears? Corey got up and looked at the rack., Shane broke and scratched. Shane put away his cue and left. Score was 1-0 in a race to 7 I don't know what the conversation was, but I didn't see a problem with anything Corey did. You can watch it on the Cue...

    Playing without glasses

I could never play well with glasses so I played without even though the balls got fuzzy. Then about 7 years ago I had Lasik and it resolved all those issues.

Watching King Of The Hill IPT Efren Reyes vs Mike Sigel

Might be somewhat of a regional accent thing. Most of the north east does odd things. Especially with the letter R. I think I have it figured out though. What you do it you take the R out of all the words you pronounce, especially if they end in R. and you save those and add them to the end...

    Earl Strickland Crazy Interview

I was a bit surprised he didn't complain about the rack. Maybe he just wasn't breaking well and knew it, but it seemed like he got a few racks that were not tight in that match. I didn't think a lot about it until Karl Boyes mentioned that the female ref was struggling with racking and that...

Manning Cues - NEW JACOBY SHAFT

I really like my Jacoby Hybrid. Surprised they are discontinuing it and not just adding the new one. 140 pieces....at what point does the shaft become more glue than wood? Hopefully when this is released the price of current stock hybrids will go down :)

    Jam up apparel

I think it's a bit lighter than the Gildan shirts. I'm having a hard time explaining it but it's almost more of a sports type material. I was never cold sitting in the room though I heard others mention being cold, but I also never broke a sweat which for me is unusual. I guess for me they felt...

    Jam up apparel

Sorry I didn't post sooner. The 3 shirts I ordered are awesome. I'm a big guy and it's hard to find shirts that I like but these look and fit great!. The material feels nice and doesn't bind up when I'm shooting pool. I was in a 3 day tournament last weekend and couldn't be happier. It's like...

    45 degrees

A league I used to shoot in had the 45 rule in place and more or less if the cue was at ~45° anything goes. In general it worked well, but there was a few guys who would take advantage of it and force the cue ball around to break open shots etc.. What I don't understand is that the league I...

    Long cue question

I'm no expert, but I think most of it is just physics. It's harder to change the path of a heavy object in motion than a light one. Not only adding weight, but getting the weight moved further from the "center of gravity" will tend to keep in inline. The increased length can help in a number of...

Who's your favorite pro to watch that helps your game?

There is a 2006 IPT match between Corey Deuel and Ray Martin that I always like to watch before a tournament just to remind me of how little cue ball movement is needed to run out a table.Mostly because I often try to do too much with the cue ball and hit too hard. I always enjoy watching Corey...
