Inactivity mainly. I was buying and selling cues quite a bit for a while and I had used my Mordt as a player for the most part. I haven't been able to play much at all lately. I am not 100% sure if it is curly maple, but it is probably the most beautuiful shaft wood I have ever seen personally.
