I am putting my Brian Mordt Cue up for sale... $625.00. It has been lightly played...

Ebony points and Butt with highly figured birdseye forearm. 2 Veneers Ebony and natural. 13mm tips... The white in this cue is NOT Ivory... I do not have an scale, but I am sure from playing that this cue is between 19 and 20 ozs.

Auction ends during the day on friday... Around 3pm CDT. I put this on Sunday assuming the default was 7 days. Though I am glad it will get over sooner. During a workday kinda stinks... as people are leaving for Labor Day weekends too. :(

Get yer bids in early. There are a lot of watchers. I wonder if they are just seeing if Eric Lee can take it down for the minimum... :D

Well, I got about the same that people on this site were offering for the cue the last time I shopped it around. I guess that means that is what it is worth...

It shows that people here know the market (or set the market... one or the other)

I got beat out and regret it.

The $465 you got for your BCM was ridiculous. I am kicking myself for losing that one in the last seconds as it is the only cue I was planning on bidding on. I think you may have seriously fared better setting the end of the auction at a time when people are more likely to be home than at work. I coulda made money reselling yours on an upcoming Saturday morning eBay auction if I didn't like how it played compared to the Blevins I bought later Friday night from a local cue dealer.

Timing of eBay auctions is a major factor in the number of bidders present at the end of an auction. I found Saturday and Sunday mornings when people are up (around 9-10AM) Pacific time is good. Truly interested buyers will make it a point to get on eBay during those times. Sorry I didn't bid more, we both lost out. I am sure I would have bid more if the auction had ended on Saturday morning instead of the Friday workday. I ended up trading into a refinished Les Blevins Friday night that I had previously arranged to see and would have put the Blevins purchase off or layed away so to speak until your auction was over, but I had to see the Blevins and shoot with it first. The premium I had to pay for it would have raised my bid considerable for your cue on Sat morning. Since I lost out on yours FRI afternoon, I bought the Blevins on the spot for the shooter that it really is and paid more than I could ever sell it for (in today's market). The upside is I love the hit and balance more than the 2 Southwests I had the opportunity to play local tournaments with in the past, so Les's cues should get the sleeper award of the century. At 1/3rd the price of a Southwest, I can't see getting the SW or Richard Harris bug unless I win the lotto. Then it would be Szam, Gina, Prewitt, Tasc, and Mottey all the way Baby just for show. Ato win most of my games, I would hire Efren to shoot for me.
