I would say no foul....although what if in APA where slop counts you move a ball a little and then your object ball collides with that moved ball and pockets. Then I say foul. You altered the path of balls due to moving a ball.
I also got in touch with you Doug. You found my cue and we emailed a couple times and then I haven't heard from you in a bit. Any chance mine is getting worked on? No time crunch, just a question. Thanks.
I watched the Shane and Wu Chia Ching match and holy cow did that cue ball take a lot of last second roll offs. I would get highly annoyed seeing that happen all the time. What is making that happen? Felt, balls??
FYI. All your information is online wether you like it or not. Bank accounts, credit cards, pretty much everything you wouldn't want hacked into is out there. Even if you don't order online technology already has thrown you in the mix.
I find very freshly cleaned balls are tough to play. They pocket easier down rails but they just play funny for a few hours. Guessing because you typically play with balls that are NOT freshly polished and muscle memory is telling you how to hit the balls as "normal" and they don't play...
It would be very easy to write a spreadsheet to do what you want but you would need more then just games won vs loss. That's why BCA uses ball count and APA uses innings. Add one or the other and be quite simple to control based on a spreadsheet.
It really is what YOU like! I have 860 tournament blue because I play long sessions which is agreed upon that it's easier on the eyes, and all the tables I shoot on for leagues have the same color.
Absolutely learn to kick first. I hardly ever find myself jumping balls. Once you are an efficient kicker you will know when jumping is your best option. I would say that when my opponent is jumping a ball I'm already grabbing my cue and getting ready to have an open shot after he misses...
I personally hate breakning this way. The percentage of actually making the ball is quite low and look at the stack after he breaks. Clusters and typically moves the balls out of the rack to the side you break from. Very difficult usually to BnR from a break like that. If I break the way I...
That gives me an interesting idea. I have a great idea how to make it even easier than that. Hmmm....now I just need the money to design it. Million dollar idea I tell ya! :D
