I bought some Permatex Fast Orange today at WalMart for $2.75. It got about 90% of the chalk dust out and didn't leave the cue feeling dry like with Comet which just bleaches out the color in the shaft. Best advice I've heard. Great tip

Wizard Tips I'm looking for something else to replace a Hard Moori also. I spend a lot more on a layered tip and it mushrooms out twice. I'm done with the Hard Mooris. Has anybody tried the Hard Wizards and have they mushroomed out also? If not I might try them for a bit.

Just got it today had to wait about 6+ years I can't really remember. Wonder what this is worth on the open market? Probably will just hold onto this for another 3-4 years unless someone wants to make an insane offer.

Mushroomed Moori Well I guess I will switch to another tip. Good to hear it just isn't me having a problem with Moori tips. Why pay so much if they mushroom easily? I might just switch to a Kamui hard tip and if that doesn't work out back to regular tips for good.

How do I stop or slow down a new Moori from mushrooming? I get one and a week later its mushroomed. I try to sand the edges with 750 grit sandpaper but without a lathe its difficult. I've got a grazer but it doesn't take everything down even sometimes.

Before you put on a Moori tip does anyone do anything special to it? For example put it in a vice or let it still in a substance so later it won't mushroom as easily. The last couple Moori tips have mushroomed on me days after I put them on wonder if it happens to anyone else and how to stop it.
