    Joe Porper cue?

Thanks everybody. I was unfamiliar with any of his cues, and to be honest, I even wondered if my friend had George and Porper mixed up. From the way he described, I think that the cue in question was vastly overpriced. He was under the impression that it was an older, more rare cue. From what I...

    Joe Porper cue?

I have a friend who wanted me to see if anyone had any information about Joe Porper cues, especially any older customs that might have been made. Unfortunately, he didn't have much info on the particular cue he's looking at, just that the owner was asking 1500 for it. Any and all info is...

    Refinish question.

Thank you very much. This is really just an interesting little project to me, and I appreciate all the info I can get. The finish that is left on the cue is really bad, and only there in some splotchy areas, which I hope will make it easier to remove. I will definitely go with the india ink, and...

    Refinish question.

Hello, I recently picked up an old predator (just to have as a screw around bar cue), and probably half of the finish is off the cue. The guy that had it before me looked like he sharpied in where the finish and hence stain was missing(the cue was black). I was thinking of simply stripping off...

    What's wrong with Europe?

That is waaaaaay too funny, Roy. You know we love ya. Hoping to get some time off and make it to Derby to meet you and drink Corvette out of house and home.

    What's wrong with Europe?

Sorry guys, this post was purely a jest in response to all of the pro-Euro posts asking what was wrong with the US. I know that Europe is still fine and has plenty of talent just as much as I knew the US did even before kicking ass in the Cup.

    What's wrong with Europe?

Ha. Sorry, I couldn't help it. I seem to remember some people that couldn't post this exact phrase about the U.S. enough a little while back(and I don't even mean you Roy :)), so I figured what the heck. Has to be fair game, right? USA! In all seriousness, I am proud to have the cup back in the...

WTB Super Aramith 12 ball, cue balls

Thanks for the replies. I will PM KOINNKID soon. Mueller is too high for my friend's budget, lol. That's why he is hoping another room owner with a broken set sees this.

WTB Super Aramith 12 ball, cue balls

Hello all, I have a local room owner who has had a Super Aramith 12 ball and two Aramith red cue balls stolen from his room. He asked if I would see if any AZer's might have a broken set or something so he might could replace them. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

    Europe rocks

Not a dominant player in the pool world? That is really quite funny. While I will admit that America is no longer THE dominant player in the world, to say what you did is just plain delusional. And, as a favor, in your little fantasy world, could I not have injuries that require surgery? That...

Who is the best? Morris, Williams, or Hatch?

No offense to the others, but I'm going with Stevie. He has plenty 'o shot to win it still. And, imo, deserves it every bit as much, if not more, than some or all on your list

Sunday's update thread (Donny vs. SVB)

Nah, if it hit her in the head, it's a foul regardless of where it ends up. Same thing as hitting the light...

in auburn,al this weekend looking to play some 9ball 200.00 sets

If you are still around, go to 4th Street pool and pub in Opelika AL (the town adjacent to Auburn). Not a problem to find action.

    did you play with "Josey"?

Figured I would add on. His cues are truly remarkable. They play great, look great, and hold their value exceptionally well. The couple that I have owned both played great and sold for more than what I paid for them.

    tedder story

For the record, Vette, I don't play Tedder's speed. I need the 6(I might could get staked with the 7:grin:). But, if I have managed to get by him a couple times, does this put me in the top 200?:)

Mark Gergory Master Table Mechanic and a True Craftsman

Nah, man, I was just kidding. We both know that I would slow you down so much you would end up having to pay them, lol. As for the split, oh well, that's life. Glad to hear that you are keeping busy. You deserve it.

Mark Gergory Master Table Mechanic and a True Craftsman

Hey Mark, glad to see it's not just us old Georgia flunkies giving you props these days. Hope you are staying busy. Now that I am single again, you better watch out before I hit you up for a job! Hope you are getting to play some too. Best decision maker I ever saw(when his head was in it...

Attention brunswick billards i'm pissed !!!

Diamond is light years ahead of either. Olhausens only have good marketing, and Vitale's are great furniture. I would take a Brunswick over both of these as well. I would prefer a Diamond, but that GC is still #2 to me.
