    Congratulations Easy-e

I think he means there were 6 players left when he gave him 3 to 2.

Josey Cues: Good, Bad AND Ugly Please!!!

have yet to hit with a Josey I didn't like. Pretty much all around good cues. The three I have owned have all played well, and managed to sell for more than what I paid/traded for them. I would say that Kieth's cues are one of the ten or twenty makers you just can't go wrong with.

Met a few AZ'ers at the Gem City Classic

In terms of pool rooms, there aren't too many that are significantly bigger, lol. The only thing in Atl that size is Mr cues, and I seriously doubt that would ever happen.

    Congratulations Easy-e

Congrats to Easy for snapping off the GSBT event this weekend. Way to not dog it!

    My Butt needs a Shaft

I always prefer to get them directly from other players. You might be surprised at the amount of people in larger pool rooms who have extra shafts. And everybody knows that pool players go broke, lol. I actually (this is for real, btw) found a Joss shaft in one of my cases once. Turns out...

    Europe rocks

The only real question I would have is what are the percentage of US vs. Europe players in these events? In a good bit of these, there are at least 5-10 Europeans for every American. Not an entirely accurate representation. I do not mean to detract from the Euro's, just wish a few more would...

Help ID this old cue? Cortland wrap, etc.

Not saying it is, but it looks an awful lot like a pre-split Joss I used to own.......

Who is coming to the Gem City 10 Ball Classic / Southern Cue and Case Show?

Ahh, crap. I never looked at the cut-off, so I guess I have to miss this one. :frown: That'll teach me.Oh well, I will make the next one.

    Condolences for Mr Whittington's Family

An extremely sad day for pool. TF was a friend to anyone that met him for more than about 10 seconds. Truly one of the nicest guys out there, and could play as well. He won't be forgotten. My thoughts are with his family.

    TF Whittington needs some email

    Funny pic/gif thread...

Spoken like someone who never attended AU. That offends me. This is supposed to be a funny thread. Try to keep your discriminating posts out of it, lol.

    Demise of the jump/break

If a guy can jump a full ball less than 2" away with a full cue, more power to him. But too many players use the jump cue as a crutch. Makes the shot far too easy. I would much rather ban the shot than continue to use these cheat tips, but that's just me. Sorry to hijack the thread. Won't do it...

    Post your JOSS cue!

Oh, and I used to have a 69. Was really nice, and hit a ton, but it was a little short for me, lol. In truth, like most players, got broke and ended up selling it. :frown:

    Post your JOSS cue!

Weird story. My wife has been after me for a few years that she wanted a mid 80's Joss, with some Red points or veneers. Lo and behold, I saw Jim Jennings (cue guy in the south) at a tourney and he showed me this. Needless to say, it is now my wife's, and he was nice enough to not heist me on...

    Demise of the jump/break

Hey, you were the one who asked about "changing shafts", lol. The truth is, not too many good players need phenolic tips on break cues. And most now have separate jump cues as well, so I don't see this as being too huge an issue.

    Demise of the jump/break

Hopefully they will just ban all jump cues. Too many people these days can't kick anyways. Lord knows I would be the first in line if they did.

    Demise of the jump/break

Keep in mind that jump breaks were around many, many years before phenolic tips. And they will be around long, long after.
