I've heard only one other CURRENT brand of production cue that competes or exceeds Schon in quality/hit, and that's Mezz. I would try a Mezz before I try a Schon.

I don't think gambling success should be a factor at all. Some people choose not to gamble and excel at pool. "Who is the greatest American pool player ever?" should be who has the most skill in the largest number of games. At his peak, I'm guessing that was Sigel. I missed that whole...

Yeah the search function is poorly implemented. Not only do links to results fail to take you to the instance of the term you searched, but they limit search words to 4 characters or more. I can't search for Sly Cue lol. Oh and good luck if it DOES find something in a thread with 8,000 posts...

I currently own (from least to most used) a shitty hampton decal cue, 20+ year-old dufferin conversion a friend gave me, a J&J jump/break, a BHQ jump/break, and an OB cue as a daily player while I wait for my next custom.

I'll trade you an OB-1 for it straight up. That's the best I can do. lol ;) Seriously though, I wish I were in the market because this is gorgeous and I love wrapless cues.

Table roll would be my guess. The literal attempt would be to apply a shit-ton of top left and hope it translates into some measure of bottom right on the object ball. I can't see it realistically happening, but it would be interesting to see someone put it to the test.
