They are different, but Royce is just pointing out the difference between the Classic line and OB line. The taper on the OB Classic Pro and OB2 are the same as the ob1 is the same with OB Classic.
I agree with manwon, sometimes, being close but not having the right angle due to other balls is not the best thing. Sometimes, distance has to be sacrificed for the best angle for position for the next OB.

Not an easy shot, at least for me. But when I am on the rail, smooth fluid stroke is what I focus on. Almost sacrificing power even if I need it for position, as much as I could, as I am more accurate that way...
I've seen about five of his videos and I surely picked up a lot. Might not be for everybody but I didn't like Mrs. Castro back in highschool either, but I couldn't say I didn't learn any chemistry from her...
