    Which jump/break cue?

I use a j&j with a white diamond. Jumps well, breaks well. Have 120 in it with tip changes over years.

    My Fargorate progression

I think the lack of participation is an issue with Fargo yes. How do they recruit td’s to use their product? Multiple tournaments weekly that will have 20+ players that aren’t interested.

    My Fargorate progression

My issue with Fargo is there isn’t many tournaments around me that use it. Lot of tournaments, but most don’t bother. One director does, but most of his tournaments are scheduled during times I’m fishing.

    Rick Howard Sneaky....Thoughts?

I had one once, liked it. Currently I play with a Joey sneaky or a bluegrass merry widow.

In case you missed it, real names or known identity preferred now

Plenty of people know who I am already. Some even, on this thread, send me text messages of cues just to mess with me. Bright side, since I'm not a cuemaker, I don't belong in this forum, so doesn't matter to me.

    A new 9-ball break format

I thought they fixed 9 ball with 10 ball. Personally I think 9 ball is a good game, and it doesn't need fixed in any way.

Is my Schon a Runde era?

Micarta from that era typically yellows into the color shown in the photo.

    Cue brand

I play with a Joey sneaky or a Bluegrass depending on mood.

If there was a rating system for gambling.

I'd still suck, but I do like to play.

What's the most resilient break tip available?

I've got a good break, and been using the same white diamond for the last 10+ years. Did it split or pop off?

how are ya'll doing in league ?

Playing a session of Napa singles, laggers choice. Currently sitting in 3rd because of a horrible start. Hoping to end up in 2nd, can't really catch first without a mircale (last game is tomorrow).

How long until you ran your first 8 ball rack?

Probably 3 months or so after I started really playing. But I was competitive enough as a teenager to try and play every day for hours. Was such a long time ago I'm not honestly sure.

Anyone else prefer very hard tips??

I grew up playing then lepro's, which were thin because we were too cheap to change them often. Played sumo's and another hard tip for a long time, then I migrated over to milk dud's and now I'm using a medium layered tip which I like.

    Break Cue queries

I use a j&j with a white diamond tip. It’s cheap, but I break very well with it.

    Quilted Maple

Not my work, just a cue I owned. Was Mason Hougland who built them.

    Fargo and Handicaps

I'll play some open tournaments, I'll play handicapped ones. What I notice is the handicapped ones get more players most of the time, other than the once a year open tournaments that are well established. Like the bar table classic. Open tournaments, at least here, are often lucky to get 15-20...

    Quilted Maple

I owned this one for awhile, best playing cue I ever owned. https://forums.azbilliards.com/threads/4-cues-finished.83384/

    Help Identifying Joss Cue

Shafts I'd say late 80's, the butt is probably from about 96 if my memory serves on that logo.
