    New Mike Massey technique

What I did was hold the cue loosely about one inch away from my palm with a sort of wrist forward attitude and then using fingers only, snap them up toward my palm. I couldn't get much distance at first but with a little more practice, was able to sink a table length shot. I set up with the tip...

    New Mike Massey technique

"Willie Hoppe taught the "slap the stick into your (gripping) palm" technique". Just tried this and it works great! Was able to follow or draw. A nice new tool in my box.

    New Mike Massey technique

I want to see an overhead video in super slow-mo. Mikes 1/16th to 1/8th inch (@ 4 minutes in) is clearly 5/16ths to 3/8ths inch. Good thing he's not a carpenter.

Anyone know David Deboy? Selling a homemade ball polisher

I made mine with the same polisher. The problem with this design is that the balls knock into each other and leave marks all over. The solution is to make a floating separator like shown in the attached photo. http://forums.azbilliards.com/attachment.php?attachmentid=482896&stc=1&d=1517420523

    Other carbon fiber shafts?

I own a Cuetec Earl Strickland Professional cue with a wood cored carbon fiber shaft. It sounds different and seems to impart more energy compared to my other Cuetec shafts that are fiberglass over wood. Deflection is about the same. I also have a Cuetec 360 shaft that is wood over a short...

I just want to say thanks for lowering the resolution from 1080P. While I would love to watch the highest quality, my ISP has other ideas. Both my wifi and phone were buffering 50% or more.:( Would be great if we could choose resolution.

    long cues

I also have a Cuetec set up like Shane's. The length from butt cap to ferrule (never measure the bumper or tip) is 63 inches. The butt mounted extension adds 4 oz. That puts the balance a lot more to the rear than I prefer. I tried a cue with extension between butt and shaft that was balanced...
