That's a very nice cue, and it should be exactly what I'm looking for. But the one I'm looking for is harder to find that I thought, I understand why. It may take a while of hanging around until it comes along. There've been a few I've seen that I should've moved on.

I've seen a couple of good possibilities, but would like to see a few more please.

I'm looking for at least four points with 1 or more veneers, ivory spears and a wrap, in 95% or better condition. I prefer linen wrap and stainless joint, but will consider all.

Has anyone read the books and seen the videos? Could you recommend one over the other, or would you recommend both? Is the material the same in each format, or does one format have more information than the other?

Anyone know why that as10 on ebay went for only 4k? Doesn't that seem a little low?

The rack has different weights depending on the game, and I thought that affects the amount the cue ball is deflected back from the rack? Even if that is the case, I'm considering purchasing one just for the ease of practicing the break, even if it is the weight of a full rack.

I still like the 6' solution, I feel like 9' for the light is just too big. I'm hoping the short depth of the fixture and the diffuser will make the ends just a little brighter but I'm no expert; I'm just guessing.

Sorry, I hadn't seen this question until now. The pricing I got is $950 for 6' and $1150 for 8'. Still haven't made up my mind on which one is best.

I put the wrong width in my first post, the 8' bulbs are in a 4' x 9' box, so there's a little more width there. Thanks for the info, it does help a bit. With a larger box I'm going to have to hang it pretty high to keep it out of the way, I'm not sure if that's better than the 6-foot bulbs...
