My latest creation. Not for sale! Didn't know where else to post this at.

Yes I have access to cnc equipment but I made this on a manual machine. We have a series one and two bridgeports at work that are really tight, so that's what I used. I thought about using a jig grinder for the locating dowels but figured I could hold .001" tolerance on the Bridgeport and that...

My latest creation. Not for sale! Didn't know where else to post this at.

I decided I wanted to give leather wraps a try and didn't want to spend $400 + for a cutting jig/fixture. So, utilizing the search function here I found a few homeade ones, and looked at some store bought ones and came up with my own conglomeration. This one most resembles the one Darren Hill...

    Just bought a shaftmaster lathe

Don't fix what's not broke If super glue gel is working for you then you should stick with it. I use loctite 454 gel and love it. Never had a tip come off. As for ferrules you'll get mixed ideas, but I like to use 20 minute two part epoxy. Some others will give there opinions also. Tom

stay at the casino If there is more than one in your group I would stay at the casino. the commuting expense saved will pay for the extra cost of the room. I went last year with my wife (who is a pool nut also) and we were going to stay in New Albany but checked into shuttle service to the...

    Travel Bag for Cue Cases.

Great stuff This is great info. My old bag finally gave out this year so now I have some options. The one Lenny linked has a 42 inch option that looks like the one I'm gonna go with. The worst that happens is I throw it in the trash.

    ★Sandcastle - $20,000 One-Pocket Challenge★

Johns play John is actually out moving Lou. Lou seems to struggle a little bit with the up table game. If John stays patient he can get back in this match. He needs to stay away from the "I'm gonna make this ball or sell out five" shots.

Hello, I have two Z-2 shafts that were partials finished by -R-. They came with a cue I just purchased. Very nice shafts, I'm just not into LD. I'm going to have Jerry make me two traditional shafts. These have very light play and both have a tiny bit of taper roll, and light blueing. There both...

    Electronic calipers opinions

This is how you hold mics. Do it a few time and it becomes natural. Basically the pinky and palm are the only thing holding the mic. When you get in to large items to measure, there usually stationary and you can "two hand it"

Hello, I have a 1960's Willie Hoppe pro (purpleheart I'm pretty sure) for sale. It's in good condition for the age. Would you play Jennifer B even?

Same spot I'd need about the same spot. The money would rattle me I think though. I've never played for that much. I'm a $50-$100 a set type of player. I'd have to play on the big table though.

Get to Detroit Hey John, if you get to Detroit and play at the blue diamond for Monday night action. You might be able to get a game with Evan jr.
