    Pernambuco Joey Bautista

I've always preferred linen for whatever reason. Elephant ear would be my next choice.

    Pernambuco Joey Bautista

Apparently, I'm a dumbass and no longer have the ability to post pics on here. Perhaps Joey can help me out later. TIA I would like to say that Joey is fantastic to work with and makes cues that not only look great, but play exceptional.

    Best playing cue under $1,000

Haven't read the thread, but I'll have to go with Capone on this one. You can get a nice Merry Widow with 2 shafts for less than a grand and they play fantastic.

    Mike Capone cues, opinions needed

Can't go wrong with a Capone. And as mentioned above, not only is Mike a great cue builder, he's a great guy. Hard to go wrong by buying a Merry Widow with rings in all places for $850 with 2 shafts and jp's included. That's the price at DCC anyway, has to be the same or similar if you order one...

    Dcc 2021

Glad I got to see you, but sorry we didn't get to hang out. I may be in the minority, but I loved the event and changes to the venue this year. Many times I went straight to the bar at the casino when I left the room. As far as the food, I thought it was pretty good. Particularly the chili...

Weight of 1.5" slate (9' table, 3 pieces)

I have a 2000 Diamond Professional with 3 piece slate. It's 1.5 inches thick. I was told when it was delivered and set up that each piece weighed 275 lbs. Heavy for sure, we rolled it down the steps on a low profile Dolly. The table weighs just under 1400 lbs, with 975 lbs of that being slate...

Is the RealKigCobra (Glen) glue method for laying down cloth still a thing?

Greg Sullivan was gracious enough to let several people tour the Diamond facility while the Derby City Classic was going on last year. Near the end of the tour, I watched a guy glue down cloth on several tables. I feel kind of ignorant, because I didn't even know they were doing it that way. He...

Break Stats -- 2019 Big Dog 10-Ball Championship, July 2019

Thanks for all the hard work, AtLarge, reading all the data that you collect is almost as good as watching the steam or being there in person. It definitely gives you a clearer perspective. Thanks again.

    Sure Man Cues accident

Glad you're ok, my friend, to hell with the van. I do, however, hope that you can get it fixed asap. Send your old buddy a South West or 2 with all of the road rash(at a discount, of course) and I'll have Laurie freshen it up back to new condition :) Glad you're ok, my friend, that's...

    Remove Sharpie From a Shaft

These are good ideas in my opinion. The only thing I can think to add is taking a dry erase magic marker over the autograph written with the Sharpie. A permanent ink Sharpie can become erasable if you write over it with a dry erase marker. Before trying this, I think it would be wise to try it...
