Every Walther I ever owned came with the test target that was used at the factory packaged in the box. Only makes sense to test a cue out as well.

Soooo happy that I have worked with the cue makers I have! All have given me exactly what I wanted (within the quoted pricing), all have had terrific communication, and all have delivered within the quoted timeframe, plus/minus a few weeks. I think I'll continue in the future with this winning...

It can be fixed. If it's a custom, it really should go back to the original maker for the repair. If production, then just about any good maker could replace it.

The guy contributes to AZB not at all, but has pages and pages (11) of cues for sale ads....and he doesn't know who Tim Scruggs is? Then lists the cue as a Dale Perry, but the listing title says unknown? Something is not right here.

I know that many makers test hit their cues before sending them out. I cannot think of a one that would send them out with chalk on the tips, when it is easy enough to clean them off. So, no, I do not consider a maker test hitting their cues as devaluing a cue whatsoever. What would you...

It really doesn't get any better than this for advice. I will add one more thing however...be wary of anyone asking for the full price of the build upfront. Once they have all your money, there is often very little incentive for them to be timely in delivering you a cue...if at all. Some...
