Any spots left in the One Pocket event? Hey John, I've got a buddy who's interested in getting in the One Pocket but was short on funds. I'm thinking about putting him in, but was afraid there weren't any spots left.

Question? Can anyone tell me if there's ever been a big table 8 ball event in Wisconsin with this much added money???

I hadn't heard Larry given that nickname until his first appearance on ESPN in some Challenge of Champions ring game. Mitch Laurence must've called him "The Truth" about a dozen times (12 times too many). If you talk to some pool players in Wisconsin, they'll say his nickname is an oxymoron :eek:

Don't quote me on this but I don't think Ed has been involved in the Wisconsin pool scene in the last 5 or 6 years.

Which events? Geno, Are you playing in all 3 events (9ball, 8ball, 1 pocket)? I know the flyer stated a limit of 32 players for the 1 pocket, so I'm sure that will fill up. My goal is to cash in one of the three events. See ya there!

Speaking of matching up, what will the possibility be of after hour games taking place? Will the room close/be locked up after the tourney matches are over?

Can Wisconsin hang in One Pocket? It will be interesting to see if the non-onep pocket playing state of Wisconsin can hang with the players from out of Staters, especially the much heralded players from Chi-town. Usually, they just brag how good they are but never leave the Windy City to show...

I think the tournament director opened it up to players from outside of Wisconsin because its bartable country up here. I'm serious as a heart attack when I say there might not even be 64 big table players in the state.:eek: The players that I know are going (big table players).

I wouldn't be surprised that no one from Arizona would be going to this. I would categorize it as mostly Wisconsin players with some players from the surrounding states coming as well.

Events for everyone! This could be the best event of the summer with all the different events going on. If I do poorly in the tourney's, I'm going to reward myself by sneaking out of the casino and go to the Dells (5 miles up the road) as Wisconsin in June is a beautiful place to be. All...
