I'm curious if this will be mostly Wisconsin residents in attendance, or if there were people from other states making the trek for this event.

I can't seem to find anyone that is going.

Judging by the multiple changes to open each event to more and more players and the extended entry timelines it doesn't look too good.

I'm very curious to see how it comes together.

I wouldn't be surprised that no one from Arizona would be going to this. I would categorize it as mostly Wisconsin players with some players from the surrounding states coming as well.

I'm originally from Wisconsin and will actually be in Wisconsin during this time. I know tons of WI players and most of the people I talked to said they didn't know much if anything about it. I wish it was different news as I'd of liked to stop in and check it out.

Good luck! I hope it's just not bad timing because of all the National Tournaments that just ended mixed in with the small amount of play you get in Wisconsin during the summer months.

I'll look forward to some great results!

I think the tournament director opened it up to players from outside of Wisconsin because its bartable country up here. I'm serious as a heart attack when I say there might not even be 64 big table players in the state.

The players that I know are going (big table players).

That tourney looks pretty good! Wish someone in Iowa would put on a tourney like this one!!

Hey Big Dog,

You know IA borders Wisconsin, right? Come on up for the tourney. Do you know of any Iowa players that are going to make the short trek over for this one. I know there are a lot of bar box monsters where you're from, but I'm sure a few of them can make some balls on the big track, too:wink:

I'm curious as to what the added money is for the 32 man one pocket tournament.

You know I'll be there........

Hi there Cruncher,

I can't wait. it looks like it will fill up. There's still 3 weeks left and there are at least about 26 in each event from what I heard from a good source. The guy that's running it.

I think it's going to be great. See everyone there.

Which events?

Geno,

Are you playing in all 3 events (9ball, 8ball, 1 pocket)? I know the flyer stated a limit of 32 players for the 1 pocket, so I'm sure that will fill up.

My goal is to cash in one of the three events.

See ya there!

Don't quote me on this but I don't think Ed has been involved in the Wisconsin pool scene in the last 5 or 6 years.

I am a BCW member and will be playing in the 8ball open.

I believe the added money for the One Pocket will be $2500. I will check on that later this evening.

Johnathan Demet has done a great job this year. He took the BCW over from Frank Prather and has done an unbelievable job. He found sponsorship right away through McDermott cue and also Delta 13 rack and Simonis.

I think it was great that he was able to get added money for the season and now $18,000 for the state final. WOW!

Here is a bit more info for anyone interested.

Gabe Owen will be hosting a one pocket clinic on Sunday.

Here is the latest press release and poster.
