    Two shafts...obsessive?

Me too! I think having 2 shafts makes perfect sense. I have two of Pat Diviney playing cues and three of his 30" Lake Salvage shafts, two are 12.5mm and one is 12.75. All three shafts fit the two butts of the players. Heck, I have one of Pat's beautiful jump/break cues and keep a separate...

Table cleaning - shark steam? Any thoughts

Regular clening I have found a regular cleaning helps the cloth. I use a small and not to powerful hand held vacuum with a short flexible tube and 3 different attachments. After that I take a dry micro fleece towel and wipe the cloth down in a circular motion. Then a camel hair brush going...

    Upcoming Tournament

Do it Tournaments can be fun if you like competition. I play in them to have fun, I have no illusions about becoming famous. Be humble when you win and gracious when you loose. It's only a pool game.

What sparked your passion to become a pool player?

I was good at it. My Dad brought a little pool table home when I was about 8 years old. The balls were chipped and one cue did not have a tip on it. I didn't care, I liked it. As I improved I got a lot of satisfaction poking a ball in a hole with a stick and could do it better then most kids...

    Shaw or Orcullo or Shane?

So who is the top 9 and 10 baller now, is it between these three players? How about long sets, winner breaks with Magic Rack on a 10" table? Would the length of the sets and table size decide who wins?

    Baironi

Any one have any info and experience with the Baironi cues and shafts? A tuned and corked A++ shaft could run $550, wowser! I do find the butts interesting in that they are not tapered and have a "swell at the end. Their ferrules are really different.

Why does pool attract so many broken, crazy, Degenerate, mental type people.

Maybe...... Well, how intellectual, sophisticated, ambitious and wealthy do you have to be to shoot 8 Ball on a filthy bar box that is about as level as a golf course? All this while some drunk is repeating the same unbelievable story over and over again. A far cry from the snobbish billiard...

Product Name change. And a little teasing too

Good There are many words that have had their meanings "perverted" from their original English language meaning and are seldom associated with the intent of their original meaning.

    Another rules question.

Thanks guys Thanks for the input guys. The owner is new to the pool scene and very open when I talk to him. I can remind him of what the rules say and accept what he wants them to be. At least we are shooting pool and I don't see it effecting the out come of my games either way.

    Another rules question.

So the guys at the local Sunday 8 Ball tournament said there is a 3 foul rule in 8 Ball, just like 9 Ball and that when you lag the cue ball cannot touch the end rail on the return trip. I told them unless they are making up new BCA rules they are mistaken. Who is right. I have a confusing...

    Tips and glue?

Thanks guys. I will get some new glue in smaller containers and toss it after I use it. My cue guy told me to use Gorilla Super Glue. I need to talk to him about a cue and will ask him again what he recommends.

    Tips and glue?

I use Gorilla Super Glue Gel when I replace a tip. A friends tip fell of a couple days after replaced it. I am pretty sure we prepped and glued it correctly. Does any one know if that type of glue will deteriorate in 6 months?

No Wonder The U.S Sucks Against World

Maybe I think that most American pool players know they cannot make a living playing pool so they pursue careers where they can make a living. Careers that have benefits, insurance, retirement plans, living and working in the community you live in and a steady pay check. Few pool players...

Why Dennis will Take Home the Cash!

Good match? I just hope it is a good match and both display good sportsmanship. I do believe Scott needs this win more then Dennis does. What else does Scott have besides One Pocket? Dennis is a contender in any 8, 9 or 10 Ball shoot out. Will that fact effect the out come. I don't...

lets talk about the cue youll never sell or trade

Efren pointing to where CB was supposed to be

Well Pool players have to have an outlet for emotions during a game. Pointing to where you wanted the cue ball to go and scratching his head is what Efren has always done. Some take deep breaths, frown, smile, slam the chalk and tap their cue on the table. They are humans with emotions...

Can we be honest about cues?

Well........ I have the wife I want, I have the cues I want, I have most of the guns I want and I know what cigars I like. I can get by with others, except for the wife. But, I know what I like and it is good stuff. I know I could get by with other stuff, but I don't want to and I think...
