    Bunjee or Samsara break tip?

With all this talk about the legality of Phenolic tips. My cue tech, offered to install a Bunjee tip on my Sledgehammer, My question is: is the Bunjee legal? I just don't know what the bunjee tip is made of. And would how would the Bunjee compare to the Samsara jump tip?

    Mezz Hybred vs. 314

I agree, i found the OB's to be lacking feedback, or just hit way to soft. I have both WD700 and HP2 shafts from Mezz. And have had the 314 and 314-2 in the past. HP2 low deflection, maybe a less than the WD700, very stiff and weights in about 4 1/8 oz. The Taper is more of a european taper I...

Switching to a low deflection shaft, pros and cons?

+'s If you're playing allot of 9 or 10 ball, with allot of 3 rail shape, a low deflection shaft makes it allot easier on tough or small pro cut pockets. Less guessing at the amount of deflection to gauge for. -'s Some low deflection shafts feel terrible on the hit, at least to me. They...

    Shaft warped.. ideas?

also check humidity in your room or the room you keep your cues in. Basements humidity gets quite low in the fall and winter seasons. In my experience, if my room gets to a humidity of 20% to 25%. Then I notice shafts usually start to warp. I try to keep my humidity in my room anywhere from...

    Sledgehammer changes?

So i am just curious what the Sledgehammer users here are doing to make their ferulles legal? Apparently I think the Bca is not endosing a non-leather tip. Probally 60% of all break cues do not use a actuall leather tip. Is there any enforcement of this? And should I just not worry about it?

    shaft charge?

Hey Poolplayer, Why do you want another shaft over than the WD700? -WD700 hit's solid -has low deflection -Mezz quality the Mezz HP2 is a little heavier than the WD700, but to me has a very slightly softer hit. I still prefer the WD700.

Milk Duds... Ok, the trick is in the compression stage, if you compress them to almost original size i can see this working. The Dudley tips from Mueller are suppose to be a 73.6 (medium)in hardness according to their hardness scale. But when i installed one, it sure felt allot harder than...

    favorite playing shaft?

Mezz WD700, Stiff hitting, slightly different taper than the 314 but with lotts of feedback, and low deflection to add. Made in Japan, and it's mostlikely the most popular cue there. Mezz Hybrid 2, Another Stiff hitting shaft from Mezz but with a carbon core in the center, this is one of the...

    Another tip question

There's a few things about allot of layered tips that I do not like... 1) they are mostly way too expensive 2) allot of them have a clicking noise when striking the whitey 3) the conisistancy of the hardness levels vary amoung allot of the manufacturers, Mueller tries to give you a general...

IMO the IPT was right on 8-ball.

Yeah I agree with allot you have said, but the problems with televising 8-ball can be tough, longer games, ect. Then the Kevin Trudeau thing, not even sure if all the players got paid out from the Ipt. Great concept but you need to pay your players. Allot of players counted on the Ipt to...

    moori med replacements? any?

Mooris have been around for some time, and still many pros still stick to them, they seem to have a solid firm hit, with very nice feedback in the hit, don't have the clicking sound either, but the new ones seem to glaze over and you're constantly using a tip pic to get it to hold chalk. Not...
