    Pictures from Valley Forge

Hi Rich, Thank you for your answer. I find it hard to hold the camera still with the heavy lens. The focus is very sharp in your pictures, very nice. I have a Canon Rebel XTi, but I am thinking about moving to the 30D, because that would give be 3200 ISO and 5 frames per second. I can only go...

I'm down to two, AE or Dishaw

I am very sorry to confuse you. Judging from your requirements (slim butt, radial pin) I think you will be happy with either a Josey or a Capone. These two in my opinion hold up quite well on the used market, and they both play jam up, with excellent craftmanship. Hope this helps, Richard

Congrat to Paul Song for besting Archer in the finals

Just want to offer a public congratulation to Paul Song for winning the Southeast Open Championship by besting Johnny Archer in the finals 11-7.:) I met Paul for the first time in the Derby when he bought a X Breaker from me. He is a very intelligent, professional and matured young man. I had...

Gold Dot on shaft, what does that mean?

I have come across some shafts with a gold dot right above the joint collar. Some of these shafts look to me like a 314, and some are one piece. Could anyone please tell me what this mean? Thank you. Richard

    WPBA Great Lakes Classic....who's going?

Congrat to Ms. Pan for such a wonderful victory. Ms. Pan is a very consistent player, she never seems to have a really bad day, and she performs very well in front of TV and under pressure. I am sure she works very hard on her game, and she also conducts herself very professionally. I am very...

Is high tech cue equipement fair to previous record holders

I think it is worth noticing that cue ball control, and the ability to execute a wide spectrum of shots precisely, are, in my opinion, why the pros run out more balls/tables. If a player cannot hit the cue ball precisely, he cannot control his cue ball well no matter what shaft he is using...

Help: Jump Break cue vs Jump + Break Cue seperately?

Hi John, How are you doing? Saw Kelly and Val in Valley Forge and they told me you are in China, hope all is well with you.:) I am wondering how you would rate the Bunjee with the Flying Eagle and Dr. Popper regarding close jumps? Do you think there is any significant difference? Thank you...

Looking for a tip that does it all: Jump/Break/Play...

I have a leather tip that I made for the IPT and Charlie Bryant last year. It did not mushroom after bring used by Charlie breaking till the 4th round into the IPT breaking 6 + hours straight everyday. It is almost as hard as a phenolic. It is a very firm tip. I guarantee that it is easier to...

who is the second best player in the world?

How do you define second best? I guess it is the guy not as good as the best but better than everyone else? The problem is in tournament play a lot of these players are really close to each other, that it is hard to say one will win for sure over another. The ranking system can be used as a...

Is high tech cue equipement fair to previous record holders

I think it is worth pointing out that the greatest players of our time choose to play with what they are most comfortable with. If a particular shaft or cue can help them to "cheat" to win more matches, common sense tells us that they will for sure use it--especially since they can get them for...

Help: Jump Break cue vs Jump + Break Cue seperately?

From speaking to a lot of players (which is a great part of how we develop our product), I am under the impression that a very light jump cue is not always preferred. Most players I spoke to told me they like to have a bit of weight in their hands when they jump, especially on longer jumps. Keep...
