What made you decide to get a new cue.

Love the passion that it takes to produce great cues, want to make sure they are supported... really, it was just a Tuesday and wanted to spend some money.

    Best/favorite ferrule material

I have five now. I haven't had the pleasure of playing with a Boar, yet. When I do, I'll let you know.

    Best/favorite ferrule material

Thanks for the replies! I recently received the cue with Buffalo, got to say... I have a new favorite. love the look, playability and sound. Eric weighed in on the tread a few posts ago, and makes a strong point. It's more likely about the overall construction of the cue than just the ferrule...

    Best/favorite ferrule material

If the tenon is all the way through the ferrule, it is not capped. If the tenon is not completely through the ferrule, it is capped.

Can anybody help Identify this cue?

Pretty unique. I've sitting here thinking about how that would be done, granted I have limited knowledge on cue building, but... sure seems like it would be a pain in the ass to get right!

Thanks guys! I know my posts in regards to cues I own are always long and drawn out, but with the last couple builds the builder and myself spend a lot of time talking about design and theory. As it turns out, the last two builds have resulted in both of us having a new friend, it's a beautiful...

Can anybody help Identify this cue?

Huh, never seen veneers taper to nothing like that, very interesting. Is that a standard way Palmer did veneers?

PAY OFF EVERY GAME!! (Gambling & Pool)

Sometimes when fishing it's far smarter to let the fish hook himself, then you let him fight on the line for awhile, you only reel him in when you know there is no more fight in him. Just my experience in Marlin fishing... the fight is most of the fun.

    Mark Gregory Centennial Photos

You Sir, have one of the nicest tables I have ever seen! Congrats on that stunner. Centennials and Anniversarys are my favorite designs, the Anniversary would be the nicest, if the corner pockets were different (never liked the big aluminum). Anyways, not trying to hijack, I love everything...

This cue seems to keep playing better the more table time I spend with her. I'm starting to settle in and it feels great! I'm going to send the other shaft back to Bender and have the ferrule changed to Buffalo. Would be interesting to feel the difference between Buffalo and Elk, since this...
