JJCUE stand up cases - junk without support

You got it Randy, apparently the unbiased opinion didn't go well. It was an example of how the real world works regarding consumer protections. Randy, when a person posts an experience with a product and service on a forum like this, who else would it be about? It is their view point in...

JJCUE stand up cases - junk without support

What I expected Randy, My apology for not responding to your question. My expectations were along these lines. I was thinking that they would ask for the case back (verify no abuse) and offer me a significant discount on another case. Some type of acknowledgement of the quality of the...

    Cue cases with kickstands

I had a 3x5 PC35c by J&J, it didn't last two years of light use before my handle broke. Tried to repair it unsuccessfully. The smaller cases may have better results. If you have a problem with the handle, it can not be fixed. Wholesaler or seller will not support once sold. I hope this helps.

JJCUE stand up cases - junk without support

Randy, Slander: the action or crime of making a false spoken statement damaging to a person's reputation. This is a simple performance issue. My message to people interested in J&J cases is that they can not be restored to original condition after the handle breaks off. The wholesaler nor...

JJCUE stand up cases - junk without support

I agree with you. People at Red Shoes and other thought it would be no problem. You can't take the case apart is the issue. The inside liner is glued. Removing it to replace the grommet/staple is impossible without totally destroying the case. If you look at the picture you can't strap...

JJCUE stand up cases - junk without support

I have corrected my original post to include JJcue and the title states JJcue, and yes I did call JJcue. They said they were strictly a wholesaler and pointed me back to the seller. I've spent the last 3 months carrying around this piece of crap as well. I have been in retail sales, sales...

JJCUE stand up cases - junk without support

    1. I agree regarding 18 months, I was just asking for help and support in repairing. Not a refund. 2. If I was in the business of selling billiard equipment, I would likely offer another case at cost. And say that's the best i can do. And/or I would not sell products that had poor quality. 3...

Excellent point about being more aware. Because even a vendor selling good products like Nielson will gladly sell you a very not so good product. That is why I'm posting about the not so good product. It's part of making others AWARE. And here is a manufacture who sells low price cases with a...

JJCUE stand up cases - junk without support

Good point After doing my homework I found a great manufacturer that backs their product no matter who sells it. Instroke: If after 12 months you have a problem with an Instroke cue case, we still want to know about it. You may either take the case to the retailer you purchased it from or...

Color me crazy here but this is exactly where I'm going. For @ $200 what cases are worth buying? IMO JJ is not one of them.

JJCUE stand up cases - junk without support

Good point. Both the whole sale and retail sellers are making money from an unaware consumer. Both have a choice of what they sell and how they do business.

Great point. What case are you using? And thank you for confirming that I'm not the brightest bulb. A vinyl handle on a case of this size is very likely to fail. Who wouldn't know that? What are you using?

JJCUE stand up cases - junk without support

I'm the rube who bought a product that didn't last two years. I should have known. Ahhh. But this is the first review on this maker on this forum. Maybe just maybe, some in the market will think twice. Any case you buy for under $200 will likely not last long. And won't be repairable...

JJCUE stand up cases - junk without support

Don't shoot the messenger. Functionally I liked the case. Not willing to buy more than one. It's about service. You take care of people who take care of you. And it is not leather. Not even close to leather. I went to this shop for help. They wouldn't touch it. I'm sure I could find a...

Hey all I did try to fix case. They go for about 180 now. It's in great shape. I'll sell it to you for $50 np. JJ is strictly whole sale. I know you would love this case. Me? Well lets say I'm not firm on the price. Apparently they sell a lot of these cases. (This is a thread for reviews)...

J&J PC35X-4 3x5 Pool Cue Case with Stand I had this 3x5 case (PC35X) for 18 months before the handle broke off. Took it to the leather shop, they said it couldn't be fixed. They pointed me back to where I bought it. That was an eBay account ran by joerackem-Nielsen's Billiards. After a...

Ray Schuler cues signed the the forearm vs the ones that are signed in the butt?

Appears to be after Ray's passing The picture on ebay appears to have SLC after Ray's name. So its a newer cue. Likely made my Noel who made most of his cues and worked for Ray for years. I hope this helps. Ted
