Dave, Unique look! Do you have to use a tip pad, or will it crack if you don't. I've used wood to make ferrules, but never??? What is this? Acrylic?

West G-5 is the only epoxy I've used for 10 years on ferrules. Great stuff! Hope it works as well for you as it has for me.
