What would be the purpose of sterling joint? Heavy, oxidizes very quickly, soft (scratches very easily)...heavy. What did I miss? :-)

I would like to sell some shaftwood

Dave, I have been looking for hornbeam for some time now... However, I got a few questions: 1. Was it split into boards or cut initially? (if you know) most likely the second. 2. Do you have any that is over 1x1 and longer than 30"? Please let me know. Karl.

    the fullsplice jig is finished

I built a sliding table for my 16" and it looks similar. Used cheaper guides from the same company that makes that extrusion. Price is perfect -- I think I paid more for parts and materials... One thing that I do not have worked out -- what do you use to finish it? After all, all saws have...

    LTB 1x1 or 1x2 case

ty John, Thank you for your message. I did not think I can get a longer GTF. It is terrific news! I simply love your cases and use them for my pool cues. Can you give me an idea of what a 1x2 (actually 1x1 is enough) Crinkled Brown (or brown nappa) w/Lock, simple prestige ends, would cost...

    LTB 1x1 or 1x2 case

Like the title says, and: 1. Needs to be long as Thomas with accessory cup. Cup is not needed. 2. Prefer Thomas with lock (just in case). Can be one of those strange cases with extension. Wish I could get a long GTF -- love those interiors... 3. Cigar type, no handle, no strap preferred...

YOUR story with a PRO PLAYER

My story Got to be 14-15 years ago... Played Jean Balukas at Ovington. Race to 5, 9 ball. Got 1 shot in game 2 (bank), missed it. Sat on my ass until she finished it. That was when I realized that pro-pool was not for me, and went to grad school. :D

    LTF a cheap Schon cue

this moves down too fast bump...

Correct me if I'm wrong here...

For me, the time of contact between the cueball and the tip during shots is very important. The longer you keep the Q-ball "on the tip", the more you can do with the cueball.(IMXO that contradicts the opinion in that link) When it comes to the tip hardness, -- depends on the game I play. If it...

    LTF a cheap Schon cue

Like the title says, I am looking for a cheaper used Schon cue (under $350 shipped) Does not need to be fancy, but needs to be under 20oz, straight and with good finish. I saw I could get a new Schon STL on ebay for like 450-470 with a case. I thought I will try to find something used here in...

    Your greatest Shark Tactics

That is just nasty, man. I do not much care about the beverage thing, unless you do it every game. Same with shooting fast. This can only f your game up. I would sit on my ass for as long as I need. This is not a tourney -- no shot clock, you know. But placing your shaft on the playing...

    Justis Case...Pre-Barton or Post-Barton

All this talk about rubber bumpers... There are bumper-less cues, you know. Is the message really:"If you have a bumper-less cue, do not buy a certain brand of cases?. Is it not easier to pad the top and the bottom? I like it when the cue fits nicely into a case and does not rattle inside...

How many cues have you smashed? Discussion inside!
