I need the Google powers and knowledge of AZ

I'm looking for a promotional poster or flyer from the 2010 Dutch National 9 Ball Championships. The best I've been able to do so far is a thread result on AZ mentioning the semi-finals in the streaming sub forum. If such material exists, I'm sure somebody on AZ knows where to find it. JAM...

Got a New POOL Table at work! :(

If it's available to play on (the presence of balls makes me think it is) and not just looks, just fire balls in at warp speed until the pockets let go.

    Help! Befuddled

Even the half ball hit with both balls going to opposite spots on the long rail is subject to the table rolling off a bit with the moderate speed you have to use. Even if the cueball only drifts 1/4" over the length of the table you end up either hitting the 9 ball too full and hitting it twice...

Exclusive Sneak Peek at 2015 Open Poster

I'd like to register a formal complaint for the cartoon not being in color. You're better than that, Justin.

Jeff Olney, What a stand up guy. NOT!!!!!!!!!!

Whether it was the case or not, it doesn't sound like it was a priority to pick up the cue. If you knew the schedule of your busy weekend it may have been prudent to communicate that. Selling to a serious buyer with cash in hand is hard to pass up if you've been stalled a few times.

    How Would You Run These?

I feel like a stun shot gets me in a good spot, either missing the 9 or hitting it depending on whether the CB starts to roll before contacting the 7. Later in the match after a few games are played and I have the feel of things dialed in, I can agree that the 3 rail shot plays more naturally to...

Frost & richeson $15,000.00 one pocket match

As is standard with every challenge match ad/poster I see that's well done, I want to know if it's available for purchase. Get the guys to sign 50 11x17 posters and sell them to people who are tired of the GD Ratpack and Hustler pool room decor! Pretty please?

    Ridiculous meme I found

I work for SNC at the V3&4 site. I'm glad I'm not the only person visiting AZB during approved break times and whatnot. ;)

I earned an Oops! page at work for that?

Fun thread.. Where are you from and what do you call it?

I guess it's possible that it could take after Jose and be pronounced "Hoss". It would also be awesome to convince somebody who was really proud of their exotic Joss (the type at the pool hall who will tell you it's a $3000 cue made in Minnesota Fats' basement, etc.) that the correct...

Fun thread.. Where are you from and what do you call it?

Originally from TX, where everything is a coke. When I joined the Navy I got really sick of hearing the "coke, soda, or pop" conversation, so I've just been saying "drink" for the past 14 years. I've only had to say it once out loud, but I think I'm in the Pee Shower club. Illustrious group...

Helper cues in trickshots. Not a fan.

Not to discount his talent or work at all, but there were racks and cues used as helpers in this video. The instances of their use are what I was talking about in my earlier post. Multiple ball strike masse shots with direction changes, etc... seeing the last ball fall is a minuscule part of...

    Home Tipping Tool???

I searched Google images for "Korean pool cue tip tool" and there's an item that looks like it fits the description you give. It's an orange thing called a ball tek tool? I haven't found much info, but the site associated with the image is Kozoom and they sell it as a carom cue tool. Is there...

    Home Tipping Tool???

With patience, a sharp razor blade and a few pieces of ultra fine sandpaper will get you there for less than $20. I'd keep an eye on ebay and the W/FS forum here for a used Willard's tool. I've seen some good to awesome deals on here. The only Porper product I used was a mushroom grazer which...

    Would this be considered sandbagging?

Maybe those phantom 4s running racks were busy the year I went to Vegas, but I never ran into any under handicapped monster players. Maybe a few "that 4 could be a 5 for sure" situations, but I also saw some "that 5 is a 4 at best" players. Maybe I was just lucky. Regarding gamesmanship...

    Would this be considered sandbagging?

Handicap management is not always sandbagging, but sandbagging is always handicap management. It's a legitimate strategy and within the rules. If they need to go up, it'll happen at LTCs. Be ready for that.

Helper cues in trickshots. Not a fan.

It takes away from the presentation for pool players, because we're a jaded bunch, but I think it helps for the rest of the population. I'd say 90% or better of the shots I've seen that benefit from the helper cues along rails had multiple steps along the way. Take an imaginary ridiculous shot...

WTH is wrong with the last 2 balls that they can't go in???

"In the cases where I stop to think "Hey, a couple more routine shots and I'll have a break and run!", I often find a way to f**k it up." -Purpdrag Could be any of the things mentioned in the thread so far, or none of them, but I know for me the above statement by Purpdrag is something I've...
