Dan Harriman's Cue Sports Prep Academy

But, without this thread, we might never have found zero deflection shafts.

    Shaw UK Junior Open

Well, first, she wouldn't pick anyone over Jayson. Darren served the suspension, and said he was wrong. But, I feel he has done at least as much as Shaw in helping pool players and the game.

New break rules for Hey Ball (Chinese 8-ball)

Watched some heyball last night and wondered why they were breaking so hard against a template. Usually, they hit straight(ish) trying to make the second row balls on the side. This change has cut down on break and runs.

    Shaw UK Junior Open

It is great to see MR promoting this game at every level, but the junior tournaments are especially terrific additions to the calendar. I do have a quibble with Ms F's love of all things Jason. Lives in USA with American born family and owns a pool hall here. DAZ would have been my pick. Just...

SHIPPING...still usps after new $15 fee? How do you ship?

I have been using UPS since postal service added the surcharge. My single cue shipments have averaged $14. The lowest price I have seen was a shipment to me via USPS under 10 bux. Shipper had a corp acct.

    Why this call?

The rules as played between Earl and Shane are, I believe, the Steinway tournament rules.

    Cuetec Cynergy - Ultraskin Pro

I find the softness choice relates to total weight of the cue and the size table you usually shoot on. My usual venue is all barbox. 18 oz cue with either Kamui hard or clear hard. 18.5 oz has Kamui clear brown med. There were ultraskins (not pro) on a couple, but they didn't seem to like...

APA Ranking System / % of players in each ranking

There are a couple things to remember in APA 8b: the reason there are no SL1s is they would need to win only one game which means they start on the hill and have one point by default; also, a SL2 must win two games which means that players opponent must win a number of games equivalent to their...

    Kamui .98 vs Toam V10

When testing the limits of spin with masters/ triangle, were results better than GW? Or, was it an expensive piece of chalk was messier than the cheap chalk you use? V10 is not messy...expensive, but not messy. Ask a friend to let you use some to try your miscue test.

    My new cf shaft

David Tickle made me a new carbon fiber shaft. It was spec'd to mimic my OB Raven. 30" with 17" pro taper. 12.2 mm tip. Flat faced 5/16×18. And he nailed it. The only difference is the OB is 3.2oz, while the Tickle is 3.6. The Raven did not perform until the tip was changed to a Kamui clear...

Looking for videos to see one ball one pocket and golf

Best part for me was Hawaiian Jerry asking Shane if he was up for one more. Shane says no and then digs in his pocket.

    Newer Brunswick Cues

Couldn't read that "U". Thought it was for Uni-Loc Universal is not too bad. Since the Inferno series says inlays, is it likely the Fire series is decals?

    Newer Brunswick Cues

I am trying to figure out when the cues were first made. The Inferno series says those are inlays. It left me thinking those could be Falcon butts.
