    1960's Rambow - Titlist blank

Off to ebay. If we were discussing a deal and you dropped off the map, or if you made an offer and then backed out.....don't bid on ebay - I will not sell to you. I will see your name on the Paypal payment and I will not ship to you. This would be a bad idea if I were a business, but I am not...

Ron Thomas 2x4 Black Elephant Case

If his comment was simply about elephant ear leather, though it would be an uninformed opinion, I could at least understand his poor logic since tusks and ears both come from elephants (just as horns and hide both come from a bull). But since he mentioned that he doesn't like 'leather' in...

    FS: Rusty Melton Hustler Case

Solid, beautiful 2x3 case. Obviously, I hate to sell this, but I'm running out of stuff to offer. Comes with the leather accessories shown, and a soft fabric bag that I think it was originally shipped in. Near-perfect condition - there is only one scuff of note, which shows in the 'from...

    War-time Hoppe Pro cues

I've seen the puffy wrap on HP's beginning around 1960 and even then, only on a low percentage of cues - I believe it's factory.

    War-time Hoppe Pro cues

Minor Old Cue cleaning 101 If I just want to clean surface dirt and marks off of an old cue, I lightly rub alcohol on it, checking results often. Since this cue (and most like it) will have the worn-out remains of an ancient finish, the alcohol will very quickly get to the wood in places. So...

Palmer Model D Titlist Blank cue

lowered to $500 shipped. That's it. Digging around, I just found one of those black cardboard Brunswick tubes from the 1950's, I will include it with the cue. It is not perfect, but pretty nice and does have the metal cap.

    War-time Hoppe Pro cues

Here's a similar one that Jerry Rauenzahn did for me. It was missing the wedge, joint and did not have a ring or buttplate. We used old catalogs to see what our options would have been, but ultimately went with a copy of Willie Hoppe's cue shown in the Billiard Encyclopedia. I'll post some...

    mystery cue $650

Dean is having fun, as are the people who are buying from him. I don't see any problem with that.

Palmer Model D Titlist Blank cue

price lowered to $550 shipped, Paypal f&f or money order. This is a firm price and a great deal. Paradoxically I would probably buy any Titlist-blank Palmer I could find at that price, without even thinking about the fact that I'm trying to sell one.

    The History of Cue Cases?

Someone mentioned earlier that Ann Gore cases will actually hold a 3rd shaft, while most of the other Fellini-type 1x2 cases will not. I will add that the Centennial will hold extra-long butts and shafts whereas my Fellinis, Anne Gore and George cases would not. If you look in the end-caps in...

    War-time Hoppe Pro cues

Likewise - thanks for all your help, and thanks to the previous poster for bumping this thread. I was telling my girlfriend last night, if it's old and made of wood, leather or felt, I will often knowingly pay too much because I just 'have' to get my hands on it. Every time an old item goes...

    The History of Cue Cases?

I am not a suede fan either. The only reason I've kept this one as long as I have is that Centennials have extra length so it fits my 'pin-in-shaft' shafts.
