Yes, it does. I have tried the Pierce cue with both OB2 and OB Pro (both 11.75 mm tip) and they play really nice on the Pierce butt. The bowling alley shaft (13mm tip) has ivory ferrule and is very different from the OB shafts regarding feel and squirt. I like them all, but they are...

I see the weight issue. I have seen most masse cues are around 23 to 25 oz. I am not to sure about the idea of cutting down a shaft of mine myself. First of all there is only one shaft in question, and secondly and most important I do have a lathe, but it is mainly for maintenance, changing tips...
