    centennial balls or aramith tournament

"Cool thought, but........" Good thoughts about the Tour editions credentials and all, but........for some reason, I really "DIG" the balance and f-e-e-l of the Super Aramith Pro's, a lot better. The Centennials feel just the same to me. I'm really not a fan of the tour edition balls. I don't...

Any interest in a tour of the Diamond plant with your host, Greg Sullivan?

?? Either version would be great for the Sport of Pool in general, I think, but Justin's idea of a Documentary? WOW!!! How super would that be! By the way, are you working on an Eye-Mac and editing with "Final Cut Pro X?" Perhaps a Mac Pro, with "Final Cut Pro?"

    centennial balls or aramith tournament

The same ball? The Centennials and Super pro's are both made by Saluc now. For my 2 cents worth, the Centennial T.V. balls are the "best lookers!" I have all four sets, Super pro's and Centennials, T.V. and regular, these sets virtually play the same. So pick the set you like the looks of...

    Joe Rogan and TAR

Really??? "Really? I thought Rogan showed himself to be quite a knowledgeable pool fan!" You know it's not so simple to get in that booth with somebody, when you've no idea what they know about the game. He seemed, aware of the difficulty in recovering cue-ball position, in poor run-out...

TAR Podcast #4 with Earl Strickland & Shane Van Boening

The podcast really shows that Earl, is so-----much, like Tyrus Raymond, "Ty" Cobb, it's almost like a, Hindu, re-incarnation thing! ;)

    SEE System Insanity!!!

What!!! Dude.......... I thought that was just "the Pat Fleming practice routine" you were doing down there in the basement, not a science of aiming experiment!      :dance...

anyone else have video proof of making this shot?

Another way??? One of the other ways is how Vernon Elliot could do it for the "CHEESE"! The cue-ball in the deepest part of left hand side (as the viewer faces the shooter), of the corner pocket, at ninety miles an hour!!! Verifiable? Ask "Freddy the Beard," he's seen that shot, too!!!

    TAR 22: Earl Quotes

A lot like Earl? Well, by the looks of these "first couple of pages," Justin, looks like you've got the "good buzz" going for your T.A.R. PPV match-up on the 9-footer, this weekend. Since most folks like to take shots at Earl, and his quotes, thought I'd post a link to another sports figure...

    TAR 22: Earl Quotes

"Earl, the quote of a champion!" For my money, this quote best reflects the true Champion in Earl, "[perhaps, even the reason so many players have admired him (besides his phenomenal playing ability), since his arrival on the tournament scene in the early eighties]!" I was sitting in the...

The game itself The problem of spectator disinterest, exists within all Televised sports. It's my belief when non-participants in a sport, watch a sport performed at it's highest levels by Professionals, it's always a challenge for them. Competitive sports however, offer the distinct...

    What's the deal with close-mindedness?

agreed! "What he said," and this, EVERYBODY, from day one, think they "KNOW HOW" to pocket the balls. For some people, it takes "YEARS" to figure out that there's a right way to do it, and most folks in this sport never make it that far with their game!

Smart Intelligent observations, and articulate statements, you sure you really do play pool everyday? The scenario's you've portrayed here seem like, a pretty accurate series of observations. Now my question is, can you build a following from there? IMHO, the short answer is yes! The league...

    Jean Bulukas(spell)

Whew! Now you don't wanna go spillin' the beans, do ya? Maybe one of these good-hearted folks will put up some cash to see an unknown player play one-pocket sets against Jeanette even!! Hell, maybe Jeanette will even spot'em if they're "unknown enough?";)

    Espn

Well stated! Well stated! For these reason's, the WPBA's exclusive with ESPN, and the aforementioned "money" problems with production costs and broadcasting rites, it's quite possible, "You may never see Men's pool on ESPN (in these United States) ever again!" Now that's a statement nobody...

    Dirty Balls!!!

More Cling! When a table is dirty, the balls walk more, rails usually play like they're wet, too. So that changes everything with cue-ball position and banks, they play wider with running and shorter with reverse, the rail holds the ball more when dirty, too. The main thing to remember...
