Joe Rogan on the mic SVB/Earl

Hey, that sounds pretty cool. I forgot about the TAR match, thanks for the reminder.

I'm looking forward to hearing Joe Rogan commentate. I like his style in the UFC matches and am curious to see how he works a Pool match.

Joe Rogan has a lot of knowledge when it comes to pool. Plus he is funny as hell. This is definitely a big plus for TAR. I cant wait to see what he says if Earl starts to fly off the handle.

I actually talked to Earl about Rogan's YouTube video at this years Open, "he thought it was funny!"
 
I was already sold on the whole weekend, but this will be a great treat to add to what will be another epic TAR production...

Yes, he is a fairly decent player. He knows a hell of alot more about it then some commentators chatting about the World 9-ball championships I have watched. And he will blow some of the Asian commentation out of the water which consists of a single "WOW!" every 30 seconds.

Plus commentators need to have charisma and be interesting, and they don't have to tell you how a player is going to shoot EVERY BLOODY SHOT before they shoot it. I like the World Snooker Championships commentation where they actually shut their yaps some of the time and just let you watch the snooker. When a moment arises that warrants commentation they commentate.

I don't need to hear the commentator tell me that the player is going to shoot the 8-ball that is straight into the corner pocket with perfect stop shot shape on the 9, straight into 8 ball in the corner pocket with stop shot shape for the 9, I can see that, my mother can see that and she does not shoot pool. If you really HAVE to talk at that moment of the match tell me about that time you beat that guy up on Fear Factor! "Hey Hey He... oh shit...."

good call Celtic....the Brits, Scots, and Irish do a great job with golf as well. Most watching are informed enough about what shot is needed. Add a little color, maybe some backround, and let the golf eeeeerrr, I mean pool, do the talking. Less is more sometimes.
