Mitch, The cloth looks blue, not gray. In natural light, it does appear to be a brighter blue, while artificial light tones down the brightness of the blue. But it never looks gray. I like the powder blue, because you get the advantage of the light color for better vision with old eyes (or so...

Mystery solved. Here's a response to a question about this from Brunswick:

Is that a picture of a Gold Crown box? All of the boxes for my GC V were marked "Made in Brazil" or "Made in U.S.A." This was last year. There was nothing marked Made in China. If they are now making the Gold Crowns in China, then I stand corrected. And it's a real shame if they've done that.

I've seen this statement a lot here. I don't know where this idea came from, but Gold Crowns are not made in China.

That rosewood cue is really sweet, but also really light. Does it take a weight bolt?

Not just Northern California. We have them on the central coast, also. Here's one just outside the house, about 25 feet from the pool table (ferrules on the hoof?).

The universal rule should apply to pool: Don't be a dick.
