New Powder Blue Simonis 860

I really think Simonis needs a new lighter and brighter shade of blue. Electric is too dark, Tournament isnt that bright either. Powder is my favorite, but it could be lighter. tournament lights have a tendency to make cloth look brighter.

CLarification on the remaing 'bad rolls', pplease. Does a rolling ball actually roll crooked? Is it that the balls are not stopping in the best place for you?
Whasssuuupppp?

Wow... that Marine Blue is Fricken dark!!!

I like the new Tournament Blue on my table.

I have a Diamond light and its perfect.

DrCue - What kind of lighting do you have above your table???

Here are some pics - hopefully. again, not much to see or view, and nothing new here, but someone asked so here ya go.

You can see the old Tournament Blue before it came off in the top left and the Powder Blue laying across the table on the top right. The Tournament Blue was darker than what i thought it would be and I think thats because the TV lights will make cloth look brighter, dunno. The pic in the bottom left is the new Powder Blue during the day and the bottom right picture was taken at night with the light on. you can sort of see the difference.

again, i think Simonis needs a really light blue color, that might be perfect as far as i am concerned.

Mike

The powder blue definitely looks grey. Anyone seen this color in person? Donny, you did Junkbond's table. Does the cloth look bluer in person, or is it really that much on the grey side?

Mitch,

The cloth looks blue, not gray. In natural light, it does appear to be a brighter blue, while artificial light tones down the brightness of the blue. But it never looks gray.
I like the powder blue, because you get the advantage of the light color for better vision with old eyes (or so it seems to me), but you don't have the glare of the super-bright tournament blue.
This is the first non-green cloth I've had, and I'll probably stick with this color from now on.

Looking at a piece right now. Not the greatest with some colors but to me this is grey with a touch of blue. Almost like a teal. If anyone is concerned about a Simonis color you can call Simonis and ask for a swatch card. 800-simonis X21

years ago there was a little fuzz on 860, now its shaved low as possible. I liked the old stuff better.
