    Safety?

In safety play if an object ball is frozen on the rail near the side pocket and is struck so it strikes another ball on the other side of the side pocket then the rail is this considered hitting another rail or the same rail? No other balls except the struck object ball touches a rail is this a...

    Black Marks On Balls

Black marks on balls from pockets We used Kiwi Shoe polish on two tables, we still get some black marks on the balls, but at least these black marks wipe off easily unlike the ones we got before which you had to rub really hard with ball cleaner to remove. I am still looking for a better...

    one pocket shoot

In one pocket moving the ball close to your pocket and playing safe is sometimes what it takes to win. This type of shot occurs frequently when I play one pocket often in end game situations when a player will scratch to spot two balls. You are right that I need more practice potting balls. Thx...

Penciled in rack, respot string line and headstring line

Pencil lines generally will disappear with a few weeks of play, brushing and vacuuming lightly will speed up the process if it is really just a pencil line, I would stretch the cloth properly and not worry about it. Good luck.

    T Rail tables

I think manufactures, for the most part, gave up building T rail tables because it was cheaper to build the other way. No lead to pour, one clearance hole to drill for each bolt instead of one horizontal and one vertical. The bolts on T rail tables don't work loose like many vertical bolt tables...

    Antique Brunswick Repairs

Rail bolts are available from Mueller, they are an odd thread so you can't subsititute. the half moon nut leaded into the slate can be reset using a two part epoxy like JB weld or similiar. Wrap the bolt in saran wrap and use it to line up the nut while the epoxy cures.

    T Rail tables

I've always felt T rail tables provided a better rebound than vertical bolt tables, plus T rail table dimensions are more consistent because they are determined by the slate size. Has anyone tested the rebound all other conditions being equal? There are only a few manufactures of T rail tables...
