It does work. Tested already. I have. 3/8-10 g10 pin and it fits just perfect. If your pin is longer (i saw a few) might not go all the way...but again they are rare...if you tell us the maker of your cue maybe somebody will chime in with a 100% sure answer. Now...not trying to derive you from...
