The 2nd edition of the Predator Dynamite Open will be taking place this weekend at Club Arta in Brasov, Romania.

As you can see on the link below, many international players will be participating this year with the World Championship just around the corner. Immonen, Hohmann, Klatt, Morra, Peach, Majid, Grabe, Majid, Ekonomopolous, Malaj, to list some of the top players.

And of course last year's champion Darren Appleton, after whom this event is named. Darren organised this competition last year in co-ordination with Club Arta. I know he is really excited about this year's edition and the growth of this event!

Live stream will be free all weekend on http://www.ebilliard.tv/. I'll be commentating and hope you will be interested in tuning in!

This will be a great event and I am so happy that my country is finally on the map with big tournaments. Darren is a great guy and I wish him the best, also I want to thank everyone who made this possible and Arta Brasov for hosting the event. Mika and Nick van den Berg were there the whole week for clinics and challenge matches.
Pool goes on and everyones happy.

Also for those who don't know Karl Boyes decided for a no go on this event because of some medical problems. Too bad for him, but like he said he has big events coming in this month and he wants to be sure he'll be fully capable to attend the important ones.

Some interesting seeds there. Last year's runner-up, Ciprian Gandac, was rewarded with a second seed, John Morra is third, Ioan Ladanyi is 5th, Mika Immonen 8th, Thorsten Hohmann 9th.

Wow the inaugural last year was quiet and this year ramped up a lot with many big names. Kudos to Darren putting this together :D

OTOH in Germany I only get "Live streaming is not available in your country due to rights issues" :frown: :(
 
Kudos to Darren Appleton for creating a nice pro pool event. I know Johnny Archer has done the same, and it will be part of their respective legacies if these prove sustainable long-term. Hopefully some other elite pros will, similarly, use their name recognition to create new events.

Way to go Darren. Your tournament has come a long way for the second year. A lot of big name players and free stream lets us in the U.S. a chance to see many players we don't get to see much. Good luck with and in the tournament. Johnnyt

Nice nice. Always love listening pro players doing commentary. By and large most of them are very good, much better than many commentators we have on streams
