The Rialto Poolroom in Portland is nice and they even have a snooker table.

My shop is finally finished and I am going to add a 5x10 snooker table in addition to the 8' pool table. I know the recommended space around the table is 5'. Is that from the playing space or outside of table? With two tables do I need 5' between them?

I have never had the opportunity to play on a 12 footer. I would love to, but I had a lot of fun on a 10 footer.

Went to Portland/Vancouver area last week to visit our sons and go to the Blues Festival. Thanks to a poster on this forum, we were able to locate rooms with snooker tables. First went to Classic Billiards, but unfortunately just as we were getting the balls for the 12' table, some regulars...

Can't really help you with your request, but we also will be going to the Portland area in about a month. If you are there around the 4th of July and like blues music, you must go to the Waterfront Blues Festival. Great party!

Wity, That was very helpful. Since I need to finish the ceiling in the building I am putting the table in and pay for the table, I am researching this area. I will need to save up money for a decent cue. What about house cues? Just use the pool cues I have or are there inexpensive house...

I am very excited to be getting a 5 x 10 Brunswick Anniversary 5 x 10 snooker table. What size balls would be correct for this table? What cues would you recommend? Are the wooden scoring beads used for snooker also?

Need larger sizes. Some of us are 3xl +.

I don't think the vacuum would be such a great idea! Maybe I could get her a cast iron frying pan so she could hit me over the head with it! I don't think she'll buy the honey-do list either!

This is a legitimate question so please don't jump on me. If you had a room and wanted to put two tables in (in this case an 8' pool table and a 5x10 snooker table), can you set them so there is 5' between them or do you need more space between the two? I know you need approx. 5' around a...

Someone has these tables on ebay and a link here. I wonder if anyone can give me some information on these tables. How thick is the slate? What is the quality of these tables? Anyone here own one? Would you buy one? etc.?
