And there are several different carom games. Do people use different cues for the different games? Sorry if these are dumb questions, but I would like to learn more.

Thanks for the information. I watched a couple of videos and went to the bar. My wife and I practiced for an hour or so and we were able to get the cue ball to raise a little but not nearly enough to jump a ball. The videos I watched said "It's fun and easy!". I found it fun trying, but by...

I used the search function, but maybe used the wrong words to get what I wanted. I would like to learn to jump the cue ball. Does anyone have good resources on how to do that? Videos, articles, etc.? Thanks for the help.

Yes, Brent. You have just begun work on it and have been sending some pics. It is a butterfly cue with bocote and east indian rosewood. It is a break cue only.

I have one and it is fine, but I am not a good breaker and have never jumped, so my opinion is suspect. I am having BHQ make me a breaker so would consider selling it.

Don't know the game well, but have a 10' snooker table in my man cave and find it a great game. And yes, I know real snooker is on a 12' table, but we make do.

My case arrived today. It is a 3x5 case that is one inch longer than standard and has two zippers on the bottom pocket. One for a jump cue and one for other stuff. I think it looks great and he is very quick to make a custom case. The pictures do not do it justice. [/IMG] n
