I am interested in a cnc machine. Since there is no Hightower deluxe:D cnc available, and there are so many other makes and models to chooses from, i would like some input from you guys that have them allready..Keep in mind, i try to use the K.I.S.S. method if at all possible.. Benchtop Parts...

that looks like a hightower lathe...I didnt know he used cheesey sewing machine motors..Must be an older unit...I have a new hightower deluxe, hightower inlay machine and a hightower taper machine and none of them use a sewing machine motor.. zx

Are they unuseable? I know i will need to put new rubber on any set of rails i get.. Are the staple grooves still useable? The staple grooves on the set i have are completely worn out..and many of the bored holes on the ends of the rails where the corner pieces bolt together were completely...

home town I live just outside of Charleston,sc in a a small town called Summerville.. There is a guy in Mt. Pleasant on the other side of town named Whitey.. He makes a cue called Hurricane.....I heard he just purchased a big time cnc machine too... Some people dont like helping...

first cue nice work bill.....My first attempt converting a house cue was a complete disaster...I was to embarrased to take photos..Didnt want anyone to see it...So i burned it....The flame was so pretty...LOL:embarrassed2: I need to find a cue maker around here to help me out a bit... max

10' Gold Crown lll I have a 10' Gold Crown lll pool table...It was converted from a snooker table.. There is only 1 dot per side rail and a brunswick name plate on each end rail..The pockets are 4" at the opening.. It Plays awesome.. Great for one pocket.. zx

harder than it looks Books and video's are great...So much information....I have 4 sets of dvd's on cue making and none of the 4 build cues the same way.. Different Equipment, Glues and Techniques. It is much harder than it looks..But i believe its like anything else, practice makes...
