Where should the CB go after you make the correct on the 1-ball if you break from the right hand rail about 2 inches off the rail just behind the foot string?

    The Bunt Stroke

While watching a One Pocket DVD one of the narrators referred to a player's stroke as a "bunt". Is that different from a poke? If so, in what way?

    Warm up strokes

BasementDweller, I think your analogy is great and you nailed it. Sometimes when the shot is tougher we approach it differently. I don't know if this is right or wrong but we do approach it differently.

    Tightening pockets

I am East Central Alabama (about 2.5 - 3 hours from Atlanta, GA). I would really like to have a Diamond and would do a trade or try to sell my Gandy (9 ft.) and buy a used 9 ft. Diamond in good condition with Simonis 860. nelldrake@lakemartin.net

How do you make SPF a habit?

I really like the SPF method and am trying very hard to adapt my it to my PSR. I find myself doing it properly when I am thinking about it but then slide into my old form without realizing it. How do I make this and ingrained habit? Thanks for any input, Nell:rolleyes:

    Tightening pockets

I have an old Gandy Big G with pockets that will accept a small bowling ball. I would like to tighten these pockets a lot. I have been told that it is possible to stretch the rubber rails and make them longer. Then I can reattach the rails and recover them. Will that work? Can a dumb blonde...

    georiga billiard academy

Sorry, guys, but you all seem to spend a lot of time and money on pool schools and very little on schools that teach typing, grammar and spelling. And is it permissable to proofread before you hit the "Post Reply" button. I really should not post this but I am feeling a little froggy (lol)...

Am I choking or just missing?

krupa, I have a friend who used to hate the six ball (you know green ball on green cloth) and she called it "the devil ball". One day she decided to put that nemesis behind her. She got on the table alone and shot the six ball from all over the table and from every angle, banks, long straight...

    Bar Table 9.1 Rotation

I play 14.1 on a 9' tabnle three times a week so I think my pattern play is OK. I am looking forward to sharing this game with my practice partner when we don't have access to the 9 footers. Thanks again for sharing on the forum. This is the kind of stuff that keeps me reading posts.

    Bar Table 9.1 Rotation

Thanks for the idea. Some days my practice partner and I cannot get one of the 9' tables and have resorted to 14.1 on the 7' which is very cluttered (one reason I don't like 8-ball on a barbox). This sounds like a great alternative. Maybe I can get my high run of 17 up...lol.

    Bar Table 9.1 Rotation

Your title implies that you must run the balls in numerical order (a rotation game). Is that what you meant or do you run them in any order as in 14.1?
