basically once the tip is clamped I set the timer...one cigarette or five to ten minute before shaping...i use the loctite gel too...seems to setup better and easier than regulasr super glue. I guess my whole customer service beef is...if you pay someone to have work done I want to use it once...

also I'm thinking if I do a repair for someone I wouldn't let them pick it up until it ready for play...I've never heard of a tip needing 24 hrs to cure.
