BCAPL Players By Area - Mapped

You know what else I found interesting Chris, is that Arizona makes up about 9% of all the Teams in the Mixed Open Event so far. 21 teams of the 245 total teams at this point. (We do have many other people to sign-up yet as snail mail and the looming final deadline approach)

BCAPL Players By Area - Mapped

Bar Box 8-ball is HUGE in Wisconsin. There are many players all over the state and lots of different events. Diamond tables in many different bars as well. I think some states really are in need of some good BCA League Operators!

BCAPL Players By Area - Mapped

Seeing that the first deadline to get into the BCAPL Nationals has passed yesterday I thought I'd pop in and see who is signed up for the Men's Open Singles event. Here is the Map showing the amount of participants that have paid their entries to the Men's Open 8-Ball. Not surprising to see...

Why Don't Some Of The pros put on tournaments?

If you can get these 16 to play for $500 entry, you could get some qualifiers or lower entry for Amateurs to play in the same tourney and bump the field to 32 players. Say $250 entry for them. There is your added money. Now you have 12K in the pot. Pay out the top 8 spots, 1st $5000 2nd...

    Heating unit for table?

I found that when I have my mountain bike on top of my table the balls have a hard time rolling fast enough to hit both end rails. Maybe your rail rubber is jealous of your bike tubes?

Who would like to see Diamond produce a Pro pocket, 5x10 ProAm?

Most pool junkies would love to see a 10' table and to play on it a couple times, but the reality is it's not going to ever replace professional pool and every room in america isn't lining up to see how they could convert their 9' tables to 10' in the limited space they already have. Where...

Whats your definition of a ERO (Eightball Run Out)

I've played in many leagues and I think it's very funny that people will only give people a Run Out if they ran the table with all 15 balls on the table, or even worse just 6 of their suit. This is a problem and here is why, what if I break and make 1 solid and 1 stripe and also scratch. My...

Leil Gay?? Anyone have his contact?

Try and reach out to Dennis Orender, he runs the DCT and Leil played a few events. I thought he was still living here in AZ, but haven't seen him in a little while. Dennis's AZB is Prince

Who would like to see Diamond produce a Pro pocket, 5x10 ProAm?

The Idea sounds interesting and the table would be fun to try out, atleast once or twice. BUT, I highly doubt any one room in my area would even consider buying the table.

How Smart do you have to be to be on Jeopardy? (pool related)

I think it would be a lot higher than you think. I posted it up on facebook and showed some guys at work and many many people that never ever play pool all knew the answer. My aunt even knew the answer and that is a stretch. Heck, just look at the question for 10 seconds, you could easily...

How Much Did You Enjoy Watching Earl-Shane?

The stream quality and TAR were awesome! The Gaff table with weird mis-shaped pockets which didn't allow you to shoot every ball in the way it needed was a shame to watch. I put this match-up just ahead of the Morra vs Oscar match, where they played rotation on a table that was too tight for...

Desert Classic Tour LIVE March 19th-20th - Phoenix

I know for sure that a bunch of AZBilliards guys will be playing in this event. BadCompany, Prince, Stuckart, BRKNRUN, Nick De Leon, JimmyM, etc. And I think the 2008 US Bar Table 8-ball Champ too. It's going to be fun!

Luckiest shot I was beat with

Tied 7-7 in a race to 10 finals this past weekend. I had a rack that didn't seem too tight when I broke them and played safe by freezing him on the end rail. He jumped over all those balls and knicked the 1 ball. I would have drawn the line better from the 1 to the 9 if I could figure how to...

TAR 20 Promo Pictures and Video

I don't watch DVD's or Streams, can I get them to come to my house and play the match whenever I would like to watch a few racks? And is it cheaper if I buy the Stream and the DVD anyway?

what are the top three 8 ball tournaments in the country

I would say: BCAPL Nationals (Mid May every year) - Vegas US Bar Table Championships (February) - Reno and then maybe the Midwest BCAPL Tournament ACS has some good talent, but 1/10th the players of the BCAPL. VNEA is pretty good APA and the words "TOP" and "Tournament" don't really get along...

    Earl and the SBE tournament

Definitely no grounds for any legal action! The TD is there to police the entire tournament and his role is to protect the players and the tournament. If ANYONE is out of line they should have full authority to prevent them from playing any further.
